Blimey, how hard to get a passport?
Just had the forms through, not only do I have to find some sort of high standing community figure thats known me for 2 years to sign it but I've got to go for an interview, typical that theres nowhere local so it will have to be a proper day out job at my expense, coupled with the £70 fee its a right dear fucking job

other thing is not only has this person got to sign it but I have to hand over everything to them once I've filled it out including the payment, then they sign it AND put their passport details on it then they have to post it, so basically its in their hands to make sure it gets signed and posted ASAP.
Bit shit I reckon. Why cant they accept a relative with a passport as proof of ID? especially when that relative is named on your birth certificate which has to be sent in aswell

count yourselves lucky i was born in oz to english parents had a nightmare just to get a copy of my own birth certificate,couldn't drive for a couple of years cos of the new photo licensce got banned an couldn't renew it lack of id, mum passed away and not seen my prick of a father since the funeral (10years ago) and still no passport went to spain in 1989 on a "b e d" not left this shitty little island since as the guy said easier to get in than out

I dont know anyone off hand thats on that list, and would feel a right twat just walking into the nearest solicitors or similar and asking them to sign and provide their passport details for me
Is that just me that finds that a bit of an odd thing to ask of someone?

If you work for a VAT registered company you can ask: -Director/Manager/Personnel Officer

Passports are a pain in the arse I am myself going through the process of getting our 3 littluns first passports...I have filled them each one out 3 or 4 times for the simplest mistakes i have made,and i am glad its all over...i made silly mistakes with spelling at first and then i filled my name out as the one who the countersignatory had to verify,only for my doctor to tell me he wanted £25 each to sign them and the photos,which also were a right pain as the kids are 3 months,2 and 4 years old,try keeping them still .
They are now going to the mrs doctor who wants £10 each
My 3 month old who has to have his own passport,will have a photo of when he is 2 months old when he is 10

The whole process is ment to ensure you are BRITISH, or eligible under some rule. If it was easy even more fookers would be getting them and this country would be in a worse state that it currently is in
