Im after a new original series 1 header tank does anyone know of any companies that make them ?

You will not get a new original style plastic header tank anywhere James unfortunately.
Closest is a 2nd hand cleaned up item. Check ebay: there's two on there now that someone posted on RSOC a few days back (not me before any mod deletes my post again )

Doo can just about rebuild most RS cars from spares judging by some pics I've seen
