Phase sensor adjustment
Measuring the gap I have a tight 10 thou, I have loosened the 2 screws but no movement. What am I doing wrong? What symptoms would I get with a tight gap?
one of the mounting holes is slightly larger than required to allow for adjustment
as said, it has a magnetic base, so lever the sensor over using a small screwdriver between the sensor mounting plate and the dizzy body to make sure it hasn't gunked itself into place before setting the gap correctly
the correct clearance is 0.2-0.3mm, so a slightly tight 10 thou is OK
