i went to fill up before work, got to the pumps, 100.9 a litre, so rung my boss and told him if he wants me at work, he can a, put petrol in my car or b, give me a lift!
He didnt do either so i sat at home do jack and still got paid

I had to put 107.9 in yesterday too and i was gutted!
A few months ago i was paying around 95p/l, so thats 10p more a litre!
So im losing around £3-£5 per DAY, so that means im about £60-£100 a month out of pocket compared to a couple of months ago!

When i work out how much this rise is costing me it really pisses me off! Im giving them stupid amounts of money every month on fuel duty as it is, without shelling out even more every month!
There is a place near me at a roundabout in the middle of nowhere charging 113.9 for a litre of normal diesel and 108.9 for normal unleaded, Robbing bastards I do 600 miles per week just for work and its a fucking joke, I have to drive my 406 hdi steady eddie style to get any decent economy
This is getting beyond the joke now
Even tho I have the power and luxury to cruise along at 90mph in the BMW 530d, I find myself with the cruise control on at 60mph to save fuel
Its not that I cannot affoard to fuel the car, I choose to drive like this out of principle - Why the fuck should I pump more fuel into the car to feed the government coffers

I did a bit of that today in an old cavalier td that Ive just got to use while by other car has bodywork, Its an isuzu 1.7 td, Mixed it with normal diesel, Loved it, 105.9 for the diesel and 49 p for a litre of oil from my local Lidl,.Works out to 77.5 a litre Mixed together

i think i got an LPG mondeo at the right time, 47.9 a litre if i go slightly out my way or 50.9 on route to work, £40 a week does me for well over 400 miles, sweet!!!
A quote from the comments on Times Online,
I intend to write to Gordon Brown just to let him know that, each time I drive into or past a petrol station posting prices at or above £1 a litre, it is a reminder to me not to vote New Labour. And should he delay the election in the hope that we all forget about this, there's another increase coming next year and the year after - so I know I won' t forget.

You should hae put the diesel in, and driven off.
If the plod catch up with you later, your reason for leaving without paying should be:
I thought they were having a laugh at my expense, so I had one at theirs
Or "Me no speak English"
