any jewellers on here ,need to now how do you melt down gold
been collecting bits of broked bold like .chains ,rings ect need to get them
melted down was think puting a blow torch on it but will the gold get dis coloured like go black

think you use a ceramic type pot and heat the underside of it till the gold melts...

Just weigh it in, as you'll only lose some weight ( therefore value ) when you melt it down

Unless you're planning on actually making something yourself?

Ps is it all the same purity?
