only 1k less than a dealer....for a private i think you may struggle TBH (esp. on a 19k car)
it took me 6 months (admitedly not tryinh very hard) to sell my saff as i was adament that i was gonna get good money for it
good luck selling it but for a quick sale you need a low price

Unless it's very desirable then I reckon you are going to have to drop another 2k so it's 3k below, IMHO at 1k less folk would rather pay the small amount extrabuy from a dealer.

I find gay men using the term "ATM" quite unnerving.

Wrong price. only Ł1k less than a dealer is not cheap enough for quite a specialised car.

I think their logic is "that daft cunt just paid a few K extra for orange mirrors, he must be enough of a sucker to pay higher insurance too"

Because the limited parts supply of a GP edition makes it harder to fix
Fuck all to do with desirability
If its not getting interest and not selling its too expensive for the marketplace. Fact
Martin H is totally right
ps. Cool little cars, awful in the wet on runflats.

I agree!
And I also think we know that insurance premiums at that point have fuck all to do with desirability. It's how likely the cunt that buys it is to crash it into something and if they'll want to get it fixed [with a "GP" tax on all the bits!].
Alex doesn't do ATM.
I checked.

Alex, as you have owned it from new, did you put "1 lady owner" in the advert, that can sometimes help shift a car

There's an old lady [I shit you not, we know the family] who is so old that she has one of those battery powered invalid chariot things she uses to go down the road to the shops, she's got a GP! I'll walk up and see if she wants another one for you

Which I answered in my original answer
It's SLOOOOW this time of year.
Personally, I would describe it as more of a "specialist" car than desireable. I know there's lots of difference between that and a JCW [because you didn't stop banging on about it when you got it
] but who else knows?
Not enough people to make it "desirable"
It'll sell mate, just don't expect it to fly out like a Ł10k JCW would

I have the same problem at the moment, I have been after an MG ZS 180 for ages, found the EXACT spec one I want for a good price, but I haven't shifted the Renault Scenic run about and I cant think of a way of having 3 cars (one other already) at the same time while insuring all 3 etc
I assumed i would have no hope of selling this itme of year
