Default Advice Needed

Guys,

Have been putting my Saph 4x4 in the same garage for ages. On the way home from a long journey though my front passenger side wheel bearing gave up the ghost and I had the car delivered to another garage who I asked to go over it with a fine toothcomb and gimme a report. Turns out my old garage was no use! Leaks from the gearbox, an oil leak, power stearing leak, front passenger side hub and associated bits gubbed, rear suspension tie bars gubbed, welding needed under the driver side.

Basically I need a load of work done, which the new garage will do for me. The problem I have is that they can't get a hold of the parts needed and Ford were as much use as a chocolate teapot.

Any suggestions?

Cheers!

List the parts in wanted section, one of the breakers or "someone" on the forum will/should have the parts you need

or maybe your old garage was good and this one says it all needs doing when it don't really to make a quick buck?

rear suspension tie bars? what is that supposed to mean? did they say that? if so, they wouldn't appear to know much as a sierra doesn't have them - it has semi-trailing arms.

Nah, the guy took me under the car and pointed out everything that was wrong. I know enough to get by and could tell it was gen up. Plus the fact it's my old boy's mate.
