Could anyone tell me if 4x4 cossie front calipers and 2wd discs bolt straight onto a S2 escort rs turbo, with no extra brackets or anything

You will need a spacer bracket.

Get them from this man: Mike Rainbird - mike@rjpipe.demon.co.uk

I think you use 2wd discs and 4x4 calipers though.

You will need the 2wd discs and 4x4 calipers , they fit straight on , the only thing you may need to do is file the inside of the calipers as the outer edge of the discs may rub

Not all calipers rub , as the calipers are a cast item the bodies of them may differ from the next one , if they do rub its only a small amount that needs removing

Youonly need the spacers from Mike R if you intend to run S2 calipers and 2wd discs NOT IF YOU USE 4x4 CALIPERS

YOU DON'T NEED TO FILE ANYTHING TO FIT 4x4 CALIPERS AND 2WD DISCS

You eed to ADD 1mm spacers to get them to fit... Fitting guid link is down - will post later

Another bit of advice - if you haven't bought a set of 4x4 calipers yet - don't.

Instead get a pair of the brackets from Mike R's ite, (most likely cheaper at £40 than a pair of calipers) and the S2 calipers, when used with 2WD discs gives about 5% more breaking power than the 4x4 calipers anyway (down to pad size/design)
