Did anyone else just get a mini tropical storm?

 

Yeah just went absolutely MENTAL here!

its not exactly tropical but yeah we have had em all day,a good mate of mine is 50 odd miles out from shetland and its currently a force 11,they have seen gusts of 95mph in the last hour

 

Just just a bit, a shit load of rain beating down and some proper harsh winds.

All calm one minute, then bucketing it down, HUGE wind, trees bedning right over etc, then just fucked off again 2 mins later and went back to raining.

Yep in brum city centre, went mentally windy and rainy for 10 minutes, now back to normal

Just like chip said.... calm as ya like just cold one minute, then all friggin hell broke lose for about 5 minutes, now all calm again!

 

i was putting in the wiring for the towbar and all of a sudden "whoosh" and i was soaked to the skin

currently locked in the office with clothes hanging off the heaters and tied to the hot air driers in the toilets

 

Yep went mad here for about 5 minutes or so. Had to turn the light on so I could read my mag while taking a dump

 

I work in (west) london every week mate, mon-thurs

im on a oil platform in middle of the north see just now & its blowing like a bastard & every body has to come inside incase they get blown away so there'll be no work getting done tonight

 

Stoped raining here about 10 this morning.

Been winds that would blow you off your feet and would freeze you suppose thats what you get for living a few miles from the sea
