only just seen this, i've had a couple of drinks now, havn't been to a meet in ages!!!

 

1x nice s1, 3x tasty cossies and thats about all i saw!

the carpark is pretty crap

 

The S1 was mine.

My first time going. It's only the second meet.

The people I met there were real top people.

Great food, a nice environment and some top people. I can see this meet getting alot bigger quickly.

As for travelling there and not even saying hello. That's a bit sad. How do you think meets started

 

Again, as Cliff said, it's a shame you didn't come and say hello after travelling down

Also, if you look at our site you'll see we're about all performance & modified Fords, not just RS's. So if you'd have looked harder you'd have seen a few tasty non RS's parked up too.

We chose this pub as the setting for the meet as at this time of the year when it's cold we thought it better to meet somewhere warm that served nice food and cold beer where we could have a few drinks, a chat and get to know each other.

When the better weather comes we'll move the meet to a location more suitable, but for the moment here will do fine!

 

And what a fine S1 it is too mate!

sorry peeps, i know its not a good start/intro for me to turn up and not say hello, just didnt think id be welcome as i didnt have a nice ford/rs of any kind with me so just had a nose around and left

apologies if ive been rude in somesort of way and anyone feels offended by any of it, none of my comments were aimed directly against any individuals or their cars (just at the carpark )

p.s. i did expect more RS's and have now realised since your edit that it is NOT just an RS meet, so felt the need to drop this apology

No worries Indy, feel free to pop down in December to say hello.

I'm sure you'll also appreciate a fair few cars will be tucked away this time of the year so I expect there will be a bigger turnout of cars in the summer months. These winter meets will more than likely be a more social orientated event than car orientated. Just a chance to get together once a month and talk car crap really!

Anyway, feel free to pop along in December or register yourself on the site!
