ok im getting a new motor in the very near future but i cant decide what to get,ive narrowed it down to either focus,megane (both chosen coz ive driven new models and was reasonably impressed) or an astra.it will be brand new and either 1.8 or 1.6.bearing in mind this is going to be used for commuting/shopping and other normal stuff,not playing about in


anyone have any advice good or bad on my choices?

 

and for the record im swaying towards the focus,i hired one for global gathering in august and it happily coped with 3 tonnes of luggage,1500 miles in 4 days and being slept in during the monsoon that ruined the festival

 

id leave the french motors alone m8

 

i had a new megane for 3 weeks and honestly couldnt fault it apart from the fact it was hideously ugly.

recon its going to be a focus,ive got till monday to decide tho

 

I would go for the focus mate i would have a renault given mate. I went to globle gathering years ago and it was mint. I know a mate of mine used to work on renault and he said they were shit. But i think with cars its just luck of the draw. Same as any car you get good ones and bad ones.
