hi, amlooking to buy an rs, the sills need doing though, have been quoted 250-700!! depending on how bad, can anyone give me an idea of how bad they are and rough cost!

they dont look too bad to me, just someone has used a jack on them all the time! you need to take the bodykit off and inspect under there.

 

it looks like they'll need doing....mine looked like that...new outer and inner sill's were needed.......£700....

well....the lip looks very thick(which mine did) should only be the thickness of two bits of metal...dont get me wrong they may be fine but there obviously on there way so will need doing some when...as for inner sill's ...get the carpet up....

 

how much is this car selling for?? is it standard?? do you know anyone who can do body work for you?? give it a poke about under there...its your money your spending ....

 

yeah its more or less standard, just zorst n kn. about 1200, mayb!a mate of mine does tig weldin a fink he said, but he said that sills r mig welding, so he not sure whether he can do it. not been doin it long!

 

imo they dont look bad but take the skirts of & have a proper look.

 

like i said give em a poke to see what there like .......

 

read your pm before i saw this. get the kit off and lift the carpet before you think of handing any cash over mate! if the worst is in these pics then it isnt so bad
