Its mad when you see Paddy in films like Hot fuzz and the latest Bourne film because in this he pulls out all the stops IMO. So convincing as a nutter. The scene in the pool room with the dealer and when the all pull up in the car, quality acting. I'll say no more.

Fucking Copland on BBC1 about the same time.

Well the film showed him with Richard but later on when the flash backs build up it reveals what happened. He wasn't really with him just a spirit or vision. Richard says at the end "stab me, do it i want to lay next to my brother, hes still calling me"

At the end when you see him hanging it dawns on you.

it was filmed local to me and have been everywhere it was filmed they had a 2cv when filming and nearly wiped me out in the fecker lol. had one of the nobbers by the neck for his trouble daft coont nearly rolled it into
me while i was getting in my car. top film worth a look

Yeah I've had all his films for a while, useful link for others, 24/7 with Bob Hoskins is awesome as well, all meadows films have that same realistic quality about them.
