Got a new airbox & inlet pipes for the Fiesta yesterday as the old airbox had loads of holes in & split pipes etc causing it to run like a dog - anyway picked one up from the scrappy yesterday and changed it over this morning. When I took the old airbox out I had to unplug 2 electrical connections from the airbox but when I put the new one in, there was nowhere to plug these wires back into. Just wondering what they were for and are they needed?

The car seems to be running ok though regardless, 1.3 Endura engine.
