Hi,
I am running 82°, in trackday Sapphire 2wd.
But I think 82° is to low for normal winter using !!!!

Sorry to use this thread, but for a 4WD saph, which one for standard engine on normal road ? I guess 82° is standard, but unsure, can anyone confirm this ?

Any reason why the 88 degree one is best?
Surely during the summer you'd want a colder operating stat?

The RS 500 had an 82 standard to compensate for the big intercooler interfering with airflow to the rad.
So id say standard car - 88, modded car with 500 cooler - 82

You would if you had a faulty cooling system, to compensate.

I would say on a standerd car 88° and on a modded car say 350hp+ I would go 82° just to keep temps down a bit
