Genesis on here are keen to do one..... DJM have done a few....Street Racers in Leicester have done plenty of non-focus cossie conversions (206/306)....

thats cheaper than i thought can all sierra running gear just be bolted stright up to the shell then? is that new steel formed or a sierra tunnel welded in also is that price subject to vat? Thanks

thats not too bad to travel, dont know if you eill know but will he fabricate a new tunnel or weld in a sierra one?

 

everything will bolt straight on. sierra tunnel sand blasted. its impossible to press out the shape ford makes to go over the transmission and give you maximum room inside for seat etc

 

whats the turn around for something like this? and is the price of Ł1500 subject to vat?

 

usually couple of weeks, from january . yes plus vat.

 

he'll make a whole new one, he's done a mk1, well is still doing it and that's a work of art so much effort in it, it'll pick the front wheels i think when it's done

Donor Saff we already had (and had spend daft amounts of money on it), the Focus was a cat d write off on ebay for Ł900 (cambelt went i think)
Sold everything out of the focus and made most of the money back

Try them, they've usually got a few in with very minimal damage, keep the dash and glass, then sell everything else!!
