Default RS 2000 Mk5 Brake upgrades?

What cheap brake upgrades for the Mk5 RS 2000 are there? My mate is after some better stoppers, but does not want to spend ap or brembo £££.

I seem to remember 4x4 cossie discs and callipers are a bolt on direct replacement??

Do ST 170 discs and callipers fit?

any other ideas ? [/i]

ST170 discs and calipers can be done easy mate, or some ST170 discs and mk3 mondeo calipers (cheaper than the ST170 ones)
