Default PS3 best deals at the moment?Discount for buying 3?!?

Another ps3 thread i know but im wondering if anyone has picked up a good deal recently? Me and my cousin are looking to buy one asap and shopping about at the mo. The best deal i can find is at blockbuster as below.

£349.99 60GB with Fifa 08 and 2 of the following:

Resiatance Fall of Man
Formula One
Genji
Motorstorm
Ridge Racer 7
Warhawk (with headset)
Heavenly Sword

£369.99 60GB with 2 of the above games, extra controller, HDMI cable and 1 of the following Blu-Ray:

Are We Done Yet?
Casino Royale
Click
Hellboy
Hitch
Hostage
Hostel
Kung Fu Hustle
Layer Cake
Monster House
Next
Open Season
Perfect Stranger
Pursuit of Happiness
Resident Evil 2
Stealth
SWAT
Talladega Nights
Ultraviolet
Underworld Special Edition
Underworld Evolution

I fancy the package with extra controller and the cable. Anyone had a better deal?

You'll need to gol to a more independant computer games shop.

Theres one in Luton called 101 Games. Im sure if i went in there and told the bloke im buying 3 ps3's now, what discount are you going to do me? He be a complete idiot, not to do a decent deal.

Go to HMV, GAME, etc... They dont need your buisness so wouldn't bother doing a deal. As the whole time you have been trying to talk them into it, they have sold about 20 consoles throughout the county

Personally, im waiting for December 25th

Chopster, I seen an advert in the window of my HMV over here:

60GB PS3, 2 Free Sony Games and 2 Free Blu Ray discs. It was next door to Gamestation though! Personally I would wait until Xmas as these will get better deals I reckon and lets face it, they wont sell out so they will have to beef the packs up.

typical tight Jock

just get one.. Seem to have dropped a fair bit.. I paid near on 500 quid with one game, one controller and HDMI lead.. Still worth it tho, purely for blue-ray

Chop fucking Chop, deary me, I'm almost willing to buy you one!

It doesn't matter what deal you get anyway because 100% guaranteed the very next day, a better deal will be available. Sods law.

Like Westy, I paid £425 + £20 for HDMIcable + £40 for a game + £20 for Casino Royal (Which incidentaly I got a free copy of anyway for regestering the bloody thing )

I've just bought another PS3 for downstairs (want it for the Blu-Ray player really, as I can't be bothered to keep unplugging the one from upstairs to watch films on the AV downstairs )....

40gb PS3
Spiderman 3 Blu-Ray
Sega Rally
£299

From Game, but offer ends on 8th November.

All depends on what type of deal you are after I suppose.

Can I ask why?

Is it a prime requirement to have PS2 compatibility...... because compatibility is not 100% as the 60gb PS3 for the UK is crappy software emulation and not hardware like my US 60gb one? IMO that is the only extra that is worth having on the 60gb model over the 40gb version...... if your going to make use of it.

that would be my primary reason for going for the 60 GB one

what's the deal with US or jap ones then? can they also play uk games, uk blu-ray discs, uk broadband settings etc?

They can do everything apart from play region locked Blu-Ray films and UK PS2 games.

It's arguable that they are useless whether they are UK, JAP or US based.

net surfing? extra usb slots, card reader and playing older games(better for the kids when you can get cheap ps2 games ). thats the things i can think of.
