remember all these from high school, nicked loads of potassium nitrate from the stores all these recipes are from the jolly rogers cook book which was better than porn at 14 (well nearly anyway). Remember going to my mates house at dinner and cooking the smoke bombs, not clicked the links above as im on dial up but if its what I think it is, its sugar melted in pan mixed with potassium nitrate, left to cool to a toffee substance and as it cools put match heads in it. Kicks out a proper shit load of smoke, we filled the park at school in no time
Thermite is hard to get going, you need magnesium or similar to get the powders hot enough to fight for the oxygen. Excellent results and if im not mistaken its the reason for the slanted tops in phone boothes where the coins are stored as access was vey easy with this mixture.
