Default 7 x 14" Steel wheels ? where from ?

We've got a pair of MT slicks for our nova but they require a minimum of a 7" wide rim.

It would appear that vauxhall never made a 7" wide 14" wheel so I'm looking into other options, Early BMW, VW and Renault to name a few are the same stud pattern as far as I'm aware but I don't really know where to start looking to source some information on them.

I've looked into Weller wheels but they do not anything larger than than 13" wheels.

Any ideas ?

superlite do 7x14 wheels

but they are not cheap

take it you want something from a production car??

early golf gti wheels are 14 and could probably accomodate a 7 inch slick

We don't really want to spend a fortune, it woudl be easier to sell the tires on and buy some smaller ones then use Superlites lol

OE Steels would be perfect but they have to be 7" minimum, the slicks aren't 7", they are BIG.

If the offset is slightly out that shouldn't be a problem as we can have the tires sitting outside the arches, we can't compete with them so it doesn't matter if they stick out a little, we just want to be able to use all the power off the line

so if your badass, you can have wheels like i had on my Volvo...

Right, I think we can safely say we won't be running the slicks this year

I was hoping to find a bmw 7 x 14 but it would appear they don't exist.

We tried a bmw wheel on the nova last night and it gives us the correct offset to clear the suspension so we need a set of bmw wheels to widen.

6 x 14's would be ideal then we can have them widened by 2" so they fit our tires perfectly

Obviously they will stick out of the arches like fook but who cares !

Anyone got 2 6 x 14" BMW steelies laying about ?
