thought id get crackin seems as every1 else is at it ,heres some pics of my project escos tidy up thats got carried away.










after some hard cleaning to remove the years of waxoil (i hate this )

well i wanted to see what the shell was like ,and was pleasantly surprised how gud it was,ive just pulled the shell into the shed to start the prep work for paint.my mate who was a painter by trade is gone have a go at the respray and see how it turns out,i was gona have it professionaly done ,but as my mate said let me have a go ,if it dont turn out rite ul only b at the loss of the price of the paint.so here goes anyway

looks well

a mate of mine did a car in his garage at home years ago and it came out mint !!

my inner wings and underside were done in my garage at home and are spot on as well !

are you painting the underside as well ??

COS 22 .yes mate the underside will b getting done aswell ,sure y not when ive stripped it this far.
alanfordtw-15 .im in dublin mate.was at some of the shows this year in my black mk6 4x4 escort rs2000 and moonstone blue 3dr sierra.

Hi mate, hows the form with ya ?? i remember you sending me a txt before saying " doing up a red escos meself" thats well stripped fair play looks to be a lovely car as redrsmk5 said 3 red escos on the go must be something in the air ill keep an eye on this..
