hi can you help my mate he has had a big prodlem with his escort cosworth the LOOM went up in smoke we have had it all out and we think that we have sorted it ...pete from ashfeild motorsports did try to get us a LOOM but no look so any way we have got the car running agen now ..there was some problems with the car befor the loom went up it wood miss now and then for no reson at all. but the car is running agen
its got a old coil on it as his mom nocked the grope A one of the side .the car ran fine but the HT lead from the coil did not look to good he is going to by a good new set but in the mean time he has put a lead on from halfords . it starts and drives very nice but when you put your foot down the turbo starts to bild up then the motor missis back fire,s them spulters and then its ok agen if you drive it nice then its ok its only when you put your fool down it hapons the plugs went in about 3 months agow ......

O he said you can rev it on the drive way and it will rev to the moon spot on

 

Hi ya can get looms off ebay new made up 1s about 400 quid, He needs some good leads and to stay away from halfords, remember buy cheap buy twice. check plug gaps and maybe reduce depends what boost he s running, get co checked 2.
