i have been bulding a s2 escort rs turbo for over a year now 2 floorpans 2 new iner and outer sills 2 wings scuttel panel and hole new frunt and im fineshed with the welding now lol the car got driven to my hows with mot over a year ago and got striped im now on to rebulding the engen and iv never been sure wether or not to replace bottem end shells ? thers a tiney amont of play int 1 of them ? i was told i would need to get my carnk re cut is this true ? and if so will i have to get difrent shells ?

the crank wont need re-grinding unless it is damaged/worn.
if for some reason you did need to get this done then the
company carrying out the work should specify what oversized
shells you need.

thanks dont think it will need re-grinding onley at 52 thousand miels going to replace them now while its striped rather than wen it starts to go
