Default flat rs1800

ive just got myself a cheap rs1800 run around the problem im having with it seems a bit flat going from first to to third gear as if its going no where after 4.5k it seems to pick up can anyone give any info in what it could be proper doing my head in cheers bri

Clutch slipping, dirty MAF sensor, igntion issue.

clutch ok mate been told it could be the maf sensor, igntion issue can you give me more info cheers bri

when i pull away in first gear it holds back then just goes

To test the MAF just unplug it. If it gets better clean the inside of the MAF!!

Igniton problem could be anything. Get your mulitmeter out and check the leads, coil pack etc.
