I have decided to sell my Ford Escort 1.6 Zetec convertable. The car was brought for my girlfriend to use over summer and obviously summer has come to an end we are looking for something else to use for the winter. The car has TAX till end of October and NO MOT.

The car has covered 104506miles and does drive very well. We would keep the car, but I have been offered something considerably better and I don't want this car sitting around till next summer.

When I brought the car I got home and did a full service (Spark plugs, leads, oil filter, oil, etc) and changed the rocker cover gasket due to original one being split!

The car currently needs a window relay as the front windows will not open alone (The backs works fine and the fronts go down when you use the all 4 button), a clutch would be good as there is slight clutch judder when pulling away, boot lock (Current one is very hard to open) and either a front driveshaft or wheel bearing is making a slight noise when the car moves. There are some dents/scratches on the car, but it is 13years old and appears to have never had a panel replaced. The windscreen also has wiper scratches on it, which would cost £50 to replace on insurance. The drivers seat has a slight rip in the top bolster and the roof has 1 rip on the drivers side (See pics for both).

As the car hardly needs much doing to it I will be happy to complete the work (Except drivers seat and roof repair) and put 12months MOT on the car if it sells for full price (£1200) and I will put an MOT only on it if it sells for over £1000.

My Mrs is very sad to see the car go, but needs must at present. Viewings/test drives are available if you wish to arrange.
