If you would really like to knows what these cars are like visit:

www.fordracingpuma.com

and

www.pumapeople.com

the Racing Puma is an experience like no other, only 500 built (hand converted from the standard car at Tickford)

it is a true rally car diguised as a road car. I have owned one for just over two years and its been the best car I have ever owned. It handles and corners like nothing else on the road for the money.

There are some up for sale now for about Ł12,000 - Ł14,000.

The interior buucket seats were designed exclusively for the racing puma by sparco.

The list of excellent traits goes on.

HOWEVER there are a few jealous people around who tend to try to put the car down knowing nothing about it. Once you've owned one though you will not find anything on the market today that comes close without spending a lot of money (hence the reason I am ordering a Noble M12 GTO 3R in March)

Hope all this helps

Best Regards

Quite a different drive from your Escort for sure!

I wouldn't recommend it if you want something to beat cars off lights, run up impressive maximum BHP and top speed figures, carry 4 people in comfort or cruise comfortably on a motorway. It is short on vulgarity but high on feel.

But if you like your B road blasts, late braking, cornering with zero bodyroll and a genuine racing/track car feel then you really ought to have a test drive. It's the kind of car you get out of after a good drive tired but thoroughly stimulated and your hair on end because it requires effort out of you, the driver, to get good results...not just squeezing the big pedal and getting catapulted down the road.

But the car does require specialist attention and I thoroughly recommend having a look at the links below for further info etc...

I have recently sold mine and regretted it...hopefully will get another soon...they really get under your skin.

I've had mine for over 3 years and will never sell it, the cars are awesome! the only negative comments come from people who know nothing about them. My mate used to have one, and even though he has a 300bhp Focus RS, he still says the FRP was the best driving car he's had
