Anyone else been playing it?

Been playing it for the last few hours and it is quite a cool fucking game

Graphics are superb when the cars are in muddy water the shit actually slides down the cars

Prob toooooo arcadey but i'm fine with that

saying that it is a little tough to constantly win so thats a good thing

Not played it but had a look at it the other day.

Played McRae Dirt on the PS3, even got McRae's MK2

 

go to quick race and have a go in the quattro!

 

Too arcadey for me, looks good tho, on the PS3 I might add But Dirt is where it's at!

Got dirt already but thought it was a bit shit to be honest
Actually no not shit but i played for a couple of days then just didnt want to anymore

I love how people say things look better on the ps3 compared to the 360 as they look no different (actually they may well do but i can't see any difference lol )

And my 360 games don't cost me anything compared to £40 a game for the ps3

As for Dirt, I think it's awesome, and almost bar the sound, it's 100% perfect, damage makes it imo too

 

I hated it... felt like i was back in the 90's

 

Yeah the 360 did suffer some serious issues actually i think it still does but i've been very lucky with mine (runs off to touch wood and all sorts now )

I will buy a ps3 at some point as i've always been a gran turismo fan but the urgency to go and get one from launch was just not there for me like it was with the ps2

I just thought dirt was too out and out arcade game not like the older colin games? more for the kids than the adults?

I'd like to see dirt side by side on both systems to see what the differences are like as i think on the 360 version the handling of the car was way too light

Sega rally tho is shaping up to be great fun especially as i've just been playing with the escort cossie in it

(although i cant possibly see how it could be less so!)

 

i loved sega rally,would love the full arcade unit in a room at home

 

No i don't think either one is a simulation both arcade types except in dirt you can set up the car a bit more...

Calling Sega rally sega rally was abit wrong because sega rally was out on the saturn years ago, they should have called it something else
