been wanting to get this done for a while now and was wondering what the pains like? ive got loads of tattoos so kinda used to pain but is it more severe seeing as its in your mouth?

 

dont hurt having it pierced feels like a scratched had it done twice. one had the tongue numbed once not.

the only pain i would say you get is later on that day/night feels like a bruse getting pushed. only cause of the swelling. other than that its fine

 

Not bad mate, uncomfortable for few days until swelling goes down, but after that and when a smaller bar is put in its fine. They spray stuff on your tongue to make it go numb

what about eating?

 

I had protein shakes etc for first day or two then ate a little but had to place food right at the back of my mouth. When swelling goes down a bit and you still have big bar in and eating ok watch you dont bite down on bar, its easy to do

 

Doesn't hurt much and some anti-inflamtories 30 mins before hand are always a help! I was eating 3 hours after mine was done

If you can handle tattoo's a tongue piercing should be a walk in the park!

Just dont try eating straight after havin it done, and you should be ok

I couldnt eat or 2 drink for 2 days

 

WELL i must be a woooose hurt like fuck passed out spewed up then pissed myself other than that mate its wicked!!

No honestly it doesnt hurt at all having it done.

The worst bit is trying to speak without sounding like a twat for a day or two.

Eating consists of soup for a few days and ice cream.

I then moved onto beans and mangaed to get my fork stuck on the bar.

I was in stiches as was the other half as she had to un wedge the fork.

 

just took the old man to get it done, then to sava to get some soupe, he said it was cool, he had the nmbing spray,

mine was ok to, i didnt have numbing spray

Getting the tongue pierced didn't hurt at all. The swelling afterwards drove me insane though.

 

Dont is my advice, my own son was one of the first to do this a few years back now. Nowt wrong with his tongue but his two front teeth are very badly worn where they have been worn down by the metal stud over a period of time. Im talking over 1/16" deep wear. He wish he had listened but youngsters never do.

rod ive had mine for almost 10 years now and theres NO wear on my teeth, its MENT to wear on the back of them but my dentist admits it aint actually true

ive got mental gum diesese that runs in my family and i dont look after myh teeth either as i been doing E's since i was 16 aswell as grinding from charlie ect

theres NO issues with my teeth apart from the chips in em from fights ect when i was younger

as for the spray that numbs it,,, ITS FUCKING ANTISEPTIC TO CLEAN THE TOUNGE, piercings dont hurt if done by someone who knows what there doing

ive had my ears done 11 times in 1 ear and 5 times in the other, had both nipples pierced ( i done the first one for a dare at the age of 15 with a saftey pin and wine bottle cork,,,,, yes fuck me that hurt ) but the other, my eye brow and my tounge NEVER hurt at all when being done

a few hours later it felt like a staple in my tounge but not major if im honest though 3 days of nurishments and no brushing my teeth,,, well our breath wasnt that nice ( i got mine done as the missus wanted hers done but didnt belive in the " it dont hurt" line so i got it done to test if it hurts, now thats called love )

i would say one warning, mine is wonky as i was scared of getting it done and he clamped it by fishing my tounge out of my mouth

mines also stuck in my mouth and i cant take it out, my dentist as tried and even with pliers he slipped and pinched the inside of my cheek,, that fucking hurt too

he said i could get it cut out but it dont bother me tbh, hardly anyone knows ive got it done too as i dont wave it about ( unless theres a camera pointing at me )

 

i had mine dona for my ex girlfriend, ansd she loved it!! i jus sounded like a "thpas" for a few days! xxx

 

not too bad having it done but dont do what i did and try to eat a pot noodle that night lol got the noodles all tangled round it lol

did not hurt just the eating and talking after might be funny

it may clean the tongue but it def numbs it as well

I had mine done about 8 years ago and it honestly didnt hurt much at all, just a small nip, like if you give blood...

It can wear the enamel off your teeth but that more comes down to placemnt of the piercing, if its far enough back in the tongue its not so much a problem. Can wear the bottom inside gum where the bottom ball rests though, although my dentist says mine is OK. I have chipped a couple of teeth by biting it not long after I had it done but thankfully not done much damage.

I love mine and would be gutted if i ever had to lose it for whatever reason.

the piercing wasnt painful at all...

 

its in the mind mate,ive had enough piercings and been there enough for my mates tattoos to know when the blokes telling me its just antiseptic and if its done right it wont hurt

the most painfull piercing ive had was my ears ( due to the fucking gun ) followed by my eye brow,,, nipple and tounge didnt hurt at all, got a mate whos got her clit done and she claims she never felt a thing,,, but some times when shes walking or rubs it she gets that itch type feeling were you know you shouldnt scratch but its soo nice you have too anyway


seriously if they done right they wont hurt, im sure my tounge was done with a wooden skewer too that gets used once and binned, its the sharp tip that makes it feel like a pin,,,, if it was numb all you would feel is presure at the most,,, but on a tounge as its soft i doubt you feel that

the first night when mine was done cause i never had any prior warning like the missus i was soooooo hungry i was eating mcdonalds chips by mushing them up in my fingers and forcing them past my tounge to swallow,,, took me 1 hour to eat half a portion of medium fries and all my mates love taking the piss out of me
