Excel Bods

If you have 2 words in one cell, seperated by a comma

I.e

Jones, Gareth

And you wat it to display as

Gareth Jones

I've got 182 of these to change, is there a quick way to do it?????

Don't think there is a way if they're both in one cell....

I didn't think so either, just realised at the bottom there was another book with them the right way around

How I'd do it...

Do a search/replace on the "," replacing it with a tab.

then simply sort by columns

Can you live with them in two seperate cells? if so, highlight all the cells then Data, Text to Columns, delimited, tick the comma box, finish.

What he said - works a treat. But just to add you could combine them again after seperating and switching the columns around if you need - concatenate
