very cheap winter runabout 98 1.8 mondeo estate
i bought this about 8 months ago for the mrs to use as a second car but due to the work that needed doing to it i have only just got round to doing it and i have since bought the mrs a new galaxy as we needed the space so this is now just sitting here and i want it gone a.s.a.p.
1997/8 mondeo 1.8 lx estate in black. 2 previous owners
has 12 months mot excellent tyres all round. new spare. no tax.
the mileage on the clocks is 164k ish however i have just fitted a second hand engine which had only covered 60k. at the same time i fitted a new clutch and gave the car a full service using genuine parts and oil from work.also i broke the gear linkage cables so have fitted genuine new ones as i am a ford technician and got the parts from work.
i have re gassed the air con.
fitted a new o/s/f coil spring.
replaced rear brake pipes and bled the whole system including the clutch.
the car starts on the button and drives like new with no smoke or rattles at all when cold or warm and the fans all work as should.
bad bits
the windscreen cracked the other day [see pic]
there are various scratches and dinks all over the vehicle
n/s/f fog light cover is missing
the n/s/f speaker sounds a bit naff when loud but still works.
needs a good clean and polish [i will try and do it sunday if the car has not gone by then.[remember has been stood for a while]
part service history no old mots or reciepts as previous owner didnt pass them on as promised.
overall this car just needs a clean and to be taxed and driven.its perfect for lugging around the kids or the shopping or a few dead bodies if thats your thing ???

all im asking for this is what ive spent on it £475 how cheap is that. im not taking offers but i would px/swap for a crosser or petrol/nitro rc truck.
please note i dont want time wasters or tyre kickers i just want this gone these fetch alot more than what im asking for it in worse condition so grab a bargain.
