the strangest phone calls we get
phone rings
caller id shows "out of area"
me: hello <insert company name>
him: <oriental accent> speak to mr shawchinzno
me: come again?
him: mr shwchinzno work there
me: nah, sorry mate, he don't work here
him: which company you are?
me: who were you trying to call?
him: chinese food company
me: you have the wrong number i'm afraid
him: what wrong with you? why you sound so slow?
me: <click>
still waiting for him to call back
i was half expecting it to be a phonejacker type prank, i hope i haven't blown my big chance to be famous on telly
