I used to have a 24v XR4x4 - really underated engines in my opinion. Most seem to turn their noses up as they aren't YBs but I think they're great.

 

thanx jimbo i know what you mean ,though this one is 3300 and pushing out 350hp hopefully 400 next year. i like the realabilty and you cant beat the noise it makes on full chat even though im up against 600bhp cosis it holds its own why they are on the side of the track wondering whats broken now my old girl just keeps going and going

 

 

lovely car, what mods have you done to the engine to get the throttle bodies on top?

 

i had a friend who worked at cosworth he sourced it for me they dident make many i was a lucky boy they just bolted straight on they are slide throttles just got a sliding plate in the middle they sound cool

 

I bet that sounds the nuts with the slide throttles

Well all I can say, that is a proper car, with a proper engine, I bet it sounds badass with those tb's!

took the webbing out so the engine would fit and to save wait,the bulge is the air box pressed against it
