Default 1999 VW Polo

I'm going to view a 1.4 CL Polo for my girlfriend tomorrow and I just want to ask what kind of things I should look out for in this particular car.

It's done 120,000 which yes is quite alot, but its been serviced regularly so I'm just after some advice.

Car in question: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=013

Thanks

Great little cars mate, our lass has a 1.4cl golf on an M and my mate has a P plate polo 1.4 cl. Nearly a grand though with 120,000 miles seems a lot though. I'm sure you can get them cheaper than that.

My sisters got a '98 R 1.4 CL and it's a nice little car, very nippy. For some reason everytime I drive it, for more than say half an hour, I end up with a sore knee.

Problems to date are; rust in funny places, seized rear wiper, leaking drive shaft seal, rear wheel bearings whining and the aerial fell to bits.

Otherwise it's a good car. If you get it check the pollen filter, as they seem to be overlooked.
