I just thought of Bristol as it was between WSM and Cheltenham, but I would be happy to go up there as its not far. the police in Weston do worry me, and it would be good to go somewhere where they aren't expecting it.

Might be an idea to find a carpark that offers some cover in case of rain like this week.

doug, normally there is no police signs anywhere to direct the cruisers!!
if there is then it will be ones blocking off the carparks!!

best carpark out of the 2 we use is the 1 by the supermarket and petrol station, its bigger and theres no speed bumps it in

Youl be lucky to get anywhere in Cheltenham, all carparks get shut these days, the only decent one, Maccys, has barriers now too.

Why not Gloucester, almost same place, no Cruise scene so no police, and 100s of empty carparks...

I have a suggestion

I'm too old to go round hunting for open car parks, getting moved on by the pigs etc, I'll also get rapidly bored just staring @ B&Q, Tescos or where ever we end up

Lets go here!

http://www.compass-inn.co.uk/

It's RIGHT next to junction 18 of the M4 on the A46

Big car park, plenty of room inside and BEER

Sounds much better IMO

Relaxing in the comfy atmosphere of a country pub

gurnE, At the compass inn, They WILL chuck us out unless we book it first.
Bristol RS Group always used to meet there for Castle Coombe until about
3 years ago.

Tiff,

Meeting is ON

No venue as yet But lets say that we will deffo have a PassionFord meet this Sunday 10th October at a place we will decide on soon (deadline: decide by this Thursday).

The meeting place could well be the Compass Inn........or Glos/Chelt sort of area - so the location will be OK for the Bristol people BUT also a good location for others to attend.
