Default Xr4x4 2.9 TWIN TURBO Clutch cable

Hi all.
Unfortunatly for me, my clutch cable broke just as I was rac...pulling away gently from the traffic lights. Can anyone advise on whether it would be a standard XR4x4 cable or a. n. other.
I'm sure I heard a long while back that a longer one from a different sierra is used so that it doesn't foul on the turbo. Any info from anyone ?

Thanks, Gez.

It will defo be a std ford part but may be off another car, if routed differently.
If the conversion is TT just phone them up, very helpful people.
All TT list in my book is a "HIGHER CAPACITY CLUTCH".

the cossie 4x4 or the dohc 4x4 ones are longer as they normally reach the other side, maybe these are the "longer" ones you need??? or failing that use a ford xr one with extra shielding??

the cossie one is going to be way way too long, by about 3 feet so it'll be poking out of the front bum[er if you try and fit that

if you use the normal V6 xr one it's got the extra sheilding on it anyway as it runs so close to the exhausts as stadard, so a bit of heat lagging around the otuside will also help with the temps around teh cable

you will also find lagging the exhaust and turbo helps no end as well as giving you a bit less room to play with
