i have decided to sell my cozi after 10 years of owning it along with all my bits and pieces/extras , i am the third owner , she has 69k genuine miles!!!
when i bought her she had 53k on her clocks i havent heavily used but i have rebuilt her two years ago, she is excellent mechanically, not over modded at all, ive been told she is 365BHP, i reckon its more like 300/330 or just over, shes fast but not as fast as she could be with a few tweeks, ive never driven overly fast as im very careful with her, the leather is mint as im 9 stone so nothings collapsed or flattened! , pretty much everything works as it should, ive maintained it constantly, stuff off the top of my head...
rebuild at about 62k all reciepts
new exhaust at that time
new gearbox at that time
turbo was new 15-20k ago and is big escort cos turbo
escort cos intercooler
adjustable susp
full 4x4 cosmetics leather,vents etc
i have tons of receipts for all bits and bobs that ive had done over the past 10 years,
i am the 3rd owner, my friend owned her before and was an RSOC member and sometimes judge at shows ,
she did win a ford show just before i had her in working concours ,
she is in very good/solid and fairly origonal condition and i want her to go to someone that wants to restore her to her former glory as she has genuine low miles and i can tell you her footsteps right from the factory!!!
i also have a catalogue of bits to go with her as i want the car and all my cozi stuff to go at once so im not reminded of her , id rather a local didnt buy her as i dont want to see her once shes gone-its a wrench for me to part with her as it is but i cannot keep her because im buying a new rs to keep for the next decade! , hopefully someone will want a very genuine and much loved car, i am selling her with her cherished cozi plate, im taking my stereo out as its 12 years old anyway and has no value to anyone but me,the spares are as follows
complete leather interior-drystored for 8 years
all removable cosworth bdy panels / doors etc etc (for later restaoration in years to come)
sundry items, new lights, carpet, etc etc etc etc
the parts alone are worth in the region of Ł2,500
the number plate reads COZI609 and is worth a couple of grand
the car value is debatable because of the condition, to explain...
the only bad part of the car is a 1.5cm upperskin surface scab which has come off, the car is not rotten by any means (she just flew through an MOT-as usual )but would definitely benefit from a respray to show her once again, she is useable in her current condition and polishes up i just personally wouldnt take her to a show as she is, i cannot stress how good she is apart from needing a respray, shes never let me down, never needed more than a tyre for an MOT, and drives from bristol to weston the n around all night at weston, then back to bristol and around a few times then gets me home on Ł10!!! amazing but true she uses shockingly little fuel, also she can be insured as a classic for Ł250 per year!!!!
as for price for absolutely everything i want offers in the region of Ł7,500
but that includes everything i have listed and more odds and ends, ive tried loading pics but they just wont, if you want pics i have loads just pm me your email and ill send them to you,
no tyre kickers, stupid offers, test drivers with no insurance certificate-i will check by the way,and if you think your going to come here and haggle me down because she has faults you can think on.....
