yeah i agree with the boys i sold mine and that was mint for 6k it had loads of spec r stuff etc etc and was gutted because the boy got offered £7200 a week later now all my mates are trying to get it but i saved up and got a 3 door good luck trying to find one they are going back up in price

 

I do not believe you will get a mint car with good stage 3 engine for 4-5k and more like 7-8k.
I bought mine earlier this year for £7500 and have spent £2000 on it but now want to concentrate on my mk1 escort restoration now.
I am thinking of selling mine,but want double that

do u want us all to think ure a hero with a 10 grand saff probably the same nick as any other persons 4 grand one

 

and all these folk sain u wont get a mint one for that

saffs aint all there valued at anymore if u hang of u,ll find a decent one for the money but u,ll see a lot of dogs along the way

the hardest part bout gettin a car nowadayz is gettin someone to descibe it correctly before u view it . good luck mate u,ll get a good one for that price

Buy the best you can afford m8,imo it would be better to up your budget if poss,good luck though there are some nice ones left out there.

6 previous keepers , leather 17 inch o.z alloys etc £5k ono

That high mileage saph on original engine went for £5800,and its a 4x4 which dont get as much money for the equivalent 2wd.
I stated i want double 4-5k which is close to the £8k i want and have turned down a £7500 offer already,but thats beside the point.
A few people have commented on this thread about sapphire values and are correct,you will not get a mint,low mileage one in good order for 4-5k
