Get your car set up before you have run it in, i have just re built my engine from top to bottom, and know that i have to run it in for 1000 miles, but its idle is high and it hunts, the exhaust is pretty sooty too, so can i get i get it set up before the i clock up the miles to bed the engine in???

yes you can get it set up for the running in period, then take it back for full set up once run in

Yeah, get it set up on a low boost setting.

Take it easy running it in.
