I LOVE my pug, Tangelina (we just named her the other day!!) She was in a right state on Saturday and nearly didn't make it out on Sunday. If it wasn't for my hubby Scott I wouldn't have been giving passenger rides
I could have just kept on going all day, I love Croft as a circuit and I could drive round there for fun.
I suffered for it on Monday morning though, I thought I'd done 10 rounds with Tyson my muscles were so sore.
Roll on the next track day and more practice in Tangelina

).I have to say a big thank you to everyone else who tried to help on Saturday. It's amazing how many people you can have trying to fix your car for you just so that you can get some laps in
was sick of the site of fookin oil on saturday afternoon but I got it fixed with an escort cossie breather, a 2 litre coke bottle and a number of odd samco hoses courtesy of my good pal Paul Linfoot.
Next track day for the 205 is in a couple of weeks hopefully back at Croft but with me giving her some death!!!
(Think i'll take my FRS as a back up aswell, LOL)

The Pug cost Ł2.5k to buy, it was already fully caged, had the MI16 engine and the seats in it so we didn't need to do anything to it really. I wanted it to have a bit more power so we bought some throttle bodies and new management and had it set up and she goes like a train now. We also had her painted orange as my intention was to go racing with her and in that colour she would get noticed more than she would when she was miami blue.
My racing plans are on hold for now, we are planning to have a baby so maybe in a year I can try again. I might do something like the Northern Saloon Car championship or even the Scottish Sports and Saloon car championship. I have my racing licence so the only thing thats stopping me is funds to get the car through MSA scrutineering. The costs of entering each of the rounds aren't that bad and we have transport for the car. Most of the rounds for the Northern Saloon Car championship are held at Croft and Knockhill which are both not too far to go.
Lets just wait and see what happens. As a track car though and to have some fun in Pugs are amazing. I know I'm bias but you really can't beat them for the fun factor and it's not like they are too expensive to fix either, should anything go wrong

When we had her set up they said that it should be closer to 185bhp but she has a compression problem so they could only get her to 170. If we keep her she'll probably have an engine rebuild ready for next year and then at least we'll be able to get the full potential out of her
I just wish there were more track days this year before we have to tuck her up for the winter
