I went along to help him out for the day

Still more to come as the engine was missing a little at top end

I reckon a 9sec pass is achievable if we can sort out a few more little things.

Take some more weight out the car and set up the suspension a little better.

 

It sounds like it's got 3 gears

Agree with Euan, it doesn't 'look' that quick but a 10.2 is fucking awesome for anything let alone a FWD Rover!

It's a quick car, not to sound arrogant but a common sight here at the drag strips (i.e Honda hatchbacks).

I find it funny when people compare cars that weren't made to do the same type of motorsport racing to eachother..
This car will beat any cossie down the strip, sure but how will it handle on rough rally roads?

Its a stated fact that no Cossie in the country has done that time, yet there are plenty of cars that have a go. I don't see what yor problem with that is?

Heading to Avon Park Raceway this weekend with Andy to hopefully do a 9 sec pass

Car is lighter than last time, and he has solved the missfire in 3rd and 4th gear with CDI coils

was this car not running again sometime this wk goin for a 9 sec pass?

 

Had problems setting up the CDI coils but sorted that out by end of Saturdays session

The best time of the weekend was a 10.6 pass with a poor start bogging it off the line on Sunday's session
