nah fella just back in from my mums

i found a water temp senser if you want it (it came off my old s2 which was working )

have you earthed out the wire to c if the switch is playing about my old s1 did this rebuilt the engine and so on did 300 miles then the oil light stayed on ended up being a faulty switch ( which was brand new and from fords )

ive also had the threads being dirty so it wouldnt make a good contact on the block

Personally, i reckon you've taken the wire for the oil pressure light and connected it to earth, being as its brown with a coloured stripe.

If you wire in a fiesta EEC IV loom really you should just cut the wire out of the fiesta loom and use the one thats already in your loom.
