decat on st170
thinking of getting one would it make a diference to throttle responce or will i need a full system to get better results also will the exaust sensor cope without the cat or will fault codes come up any info greatly recieved

A lot of cars have 2 sensors, one before and one after the cat.
I do not know if yours is one of these ?
If it has two sesnors the rear most sensor after the cat will flag up a non working cat and could go into LOS mode.
If it only has ONE sensor you will be ok and get a little increase, but much more with a complete system as well.
