cossie brakes problem...

Default cossie brakes problem...

hello all

have just fitted cossie 4x4 calipers n 2wd front disks to the s2, but for some reason tho, the edge of the disk is fouling the inside of the caliper...
having a couple of mm machined off the dge of the disk but was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, ive never seen a thread about it tho!!!

you need to space the calipers out with a 1mm spacer

check out the sticky at the top of this forum.

i just took the excess of the caliper only needed a quick sand to make it clear and saves you getting the discs done every time

ah right, re-read your post ignore what i said earlier!

make sure the calipers are clean as most have 1-2mm of shite on them(dirt etc)

well, theyve just been done by big redd, theyre clean as!!
caliper is just too close to the edge of the disk...
jeez, nowt's ever easy is it..??!!!
