brought my car in feb 2000 back then it was 3 year old i brought it because it was different to other cars also back then parts wasnt about
i decided to build it into a show car as i was into sound systems i decided to use it for a demo car like so

all was good got sorted for feature from mags until car was left at friends garage in feb 2006 it was then i recieved a phone call saying car had be broken into and all ice system was stolen

i was stuck what to do so i left it on drive for bout a year while was smoking bout in a h reg escort cab which it was then i tried my hand at a engine conversion of the turbo kind






i was hooked turbo power it is and it has to be quick real quick

so first off stripping it all out




with 16 rolls of sound deading it wasnt easy so good old paint thinners was used









as it is engine is out and last few things are being done to sell so it can go away for tying up and full respray inside out it is being seam welded first with extra bars from turrets to roll cage engine its self is sent away and shall be pick up soon ready for fitting the ony clue im giving for colour is the futures bright the furtures orange keep you posted soon

before it was all ripped apart i tried something out i managed to find some 2wd 4 pot calbers with 280mm discs on front which made it look like this


with standard discs




with wheel on i have now managed to find a spacer plate which will now allow me to use 300mm front discs to make a cheaper version of hi spec kit for ka by bout £300 dont just love ebay

now rear pumaspeed wanted £345 for there rear brake conversion
not mine i went to fiesta centre and ordered a mk 3 rear brake conversion got some rear calbers off same cossie and made up my own adapion plate for £300







now car is stripped and awaiting new inproved seating then its being ship off for spraying

 

I'd get that brake line changed for a longer one or one with a correct bend on it as that looks dodgy as hell....also that brake bracket looks very flimsy - what size plate did you use???

 

thats for advice i have changed it for a braid lines all round and ive manage to make stronger bracket will keep up dated

 

What year is that?You've got quite a bit of rust,lucky its off to get sorted.

got seats in and awaitin transporter to take car to get sprayed
