Brought this as a 1.8 xr3i 130ps none runner





Engine has been rebuilt as the 1 i had was a bit tired

engine build







and in the car



cut the front around a bit to fit the GRS and Kenlowes



afew more bits going on









then decided to replace the turbo as my old 1 had gained a bit of play

Once it was all together took it up to paul hills at engine advantages to have it mapped













Made 234 bhp and 222.5 lb/ft torque with the standard xr3i fuel pump , couldnt map it anymore as there wasnt enought fuel getting there
Escos pump fitted now

 

good job that man

 

managed to get out on track last week at brands, well pleased with how the car drove and ran

need to mod my air filter now as the pipe between it and the turbo melted

What boost is that power? thats bloody good going at the wheels!

NICE ONE almost identical 2 my mk5 rst,only diff is yours runs,lost my keys so will need to cut the immobilizer out and get a new key barrel

wicked motor but how did you get around sorting the fuel tank out? or did you just use the standard one?
