For sale is my Escort Cosworth.

The car is in amazing condition for its age. The condition is backed up by certificates when the car came 3rd in the concourse competition at 'Ford Fair'. The bodywork has no dents or marks and looks like a new car.

Its covered 62,000 miles with full Ford Service history including tax discs and bills for work carried out on the car.

Been a LUX model the car comes with Electric sunroof and air con which has recently been re-gassed.

Mechanically the car is in perfect condition.

Recently I have had new bushes and suspension on the car to return the ride to a firm but true level and a set of new tappets as 1 was noisy. The turbo was rebuilt less than 3000 miles ago and the car has also in the same time had a new Graham Goode supplied gearbox. To drive the car it pulls well and stops well and does everything it should.

The interior is in great condition. This is quite a rare LUX model as it doesn't have leather but the red Recaro hexagon seats which a small hand-full of LUX's had. They are still in perfect condition and have no sign of collapsing. The rest of the inside is perfect and all electrics work with no faults.

The car in standard form makes aprox 220bhp but this has been mildly tuned to 297bhp and 305ft/lb through well known company Graham Goode having their GGR305 conversion. At this power the car remains as reliable as a standard car but as quick as some of the modern 4x4 turbo. To achieve this power the car has had the following upgrades:-

GGR 305 ECU map Max turbo boost is 1.2 bar
GGR sports exhaust and sports cat
GGR Group A air filter
GGR Group A fuel pump
Updated -31 actuator
Rebuilt T28 turbo with 360deg bearing.

Cosmetically the car is standard apart from under the bonnet where it has had some chrome parts to make it look very clean and tidy.

To car has recently had a Full service and MOT which included a new cambelt when it had the tappets changed. It has 11 months MOT and 2 months TAX.

The car is HPI clear and has never had a claim or accident.
