GpA Astra GSi ready to rally
GpA Mk3 Vauxhall Astra GSI.
Fully seam welded and strengthened, fully triangulated weld in cage with fibreglass bonnet and rear hatch, new perspex and new front screen, provision for sill stands. Reinforced steering rack mounts, Fully Aeroquiped, racing red top battery with electric isolator. Modified 1/2 petrol tank with Kevlar Guard and alloy sumpguard. Freshly painted in white, very clean and unmarked example. Interior: Pair Magnum pro Kevlar seats, FIA approved with Securon 6 point FIA 3" belts,(12 months old ) helmet carrier, electric extinquisher with 2.5 hand held, OMP steering wheel, navi foot rest. Suspension /Brakes: GpA Proflex all round, adjustable 2 1/4" coil over front and rear with tall front turretts /top mounts, AP4 pot calipers with Ap discs and bells, Harry Hockley rose jointed bottom arms and tie rods with GpA alloy front hubs, Bias pedal box with dash adjuster, rear discs with hydraulic handbrake. Disc braked rear beam with modified mountings with lowered suspension pick up points. Quick Rack with power steering and lock stops. 7 x 16 Alloys.
Engine: 2.0 XE on tapered throttle boddies, with large injectors, running DTA ECU, rally cams, solid lifters, omega pistons with steel rods, cosworth B E bolts, lightened flywheel with AP racing clutch and cover, Harry Hockley engine mountings, oil cooler, Baffled sump, Tony Law manifold and exhaust. Gearbox: Quaife SC CR dog box with plate diff and 5:1 crown wheel and pinion, to take standard shafts, Quaife tall turret change with Quaife gear linkage, and helicopter joints.
Car has 10 mnths MOT, MSA log booked, ready to rally. Price £13995 ono.
Also availible: 20 7x16" Mag OZ and Speedlines wheels, with 25 Michelin moulded tyres various compounds £2000 lot.
Spares: Front subframe, Gpn Proflex, Hockley bottom arms and Hockley tie rods, Price negotiable.
