You can get ebc with a coating that is gold, to stop any rust where the pads don't touch, could be those ?

personally they do looks as if they have been used, there is a feint ring a few mm in from the OD of the discs on the pictures...




so it could have been the EBC ones that he has re-sprayed due to using them briefly... also he doesnt inspire confidence with the "nearly new discs" lol
