over heating still!!!

Default over heating still!!!

hi guys my car is starting to get me down alot now. ive put on a new radiator took it for a drive today for the first time in 2 weeks. and its still reading very hot. the needle is touching the O on the temp gauge where its got NORM. my car is running a stage 1 where abouts should the temp needle be reading on a 4x4 cossie? Pleas help guys.
oh and the drive only lasted 10 mins so shouldnt get that hot surely.

you sure i swear it never reached that before, if it's fine what else can i do to keep the temps down i have a swirl pot anything else i can buy?

put a different thermostat in it

try a new water temp sender? lol

that might bring the reading down a bit.

you got a 500 cooler??

ive got a brand new thermostat ive actually bought 2 in the last 2 months, no ive got a standard cooler i am after a 500 cooler though, i'll have a look at the temp sender tomorrow if you think that may cause a reading problem,

500 cooler will most likely make it run hotter. as there is less flow to the radiator..

so IF you have a problem, id get that looked at before making it worse with a cooler?

anything else guys. the head gasket couldnt of gone theres no mixing of the oil and water im not loosing water and it has a group a head gasket on it, bloody car
