Rear spacer kit
Hey everyone
I just had to service a StreetKa. As everyone knows the chassis is basically identical to the Fiesta. I was lookin around because i didnt know how they got 195 profile tyres on without them rubbing lol. I noticed there was a "spacer" inbetween the crossbar and the rear drum. this kit is 2cms wide on each side and sorts out any rubbing. It costs about 13 quid trade and can easily be ordered from ford. It comes with 2 spacers and all the bolts. All it does is space the drum from the crossbar at the back. Just thought id share this if anyone didnt know. I fitted it to my fiesta and its so much better then them cheaparse spacers and i can fit 205s on mine no problem now
hope this was useful to someone.

my mk5s running 205s with a 80mm drop with no worries but i think my beams different and havin coils helps i suppose

id read on fiesta-si forum that you could space the drumb from the hub to reduce strain on the wheel bearings,
dont suppose youve got the part number ???? i need to do this as my rear wheels seem to site really far in ?

erm sorry i havent got the part number as i fitted the kit lol but sometime in the future il re-order the kit and get the number for u
only thing u have to do is e-longate the bottom holes a lil but a file an 5 mins is all you'll need. it does wonders on the motorway too as havin them cheapo spacers seems to cause vibrations over 80mph really bad ones.
